A relatively wild pine grove

The park is a former vineyard turned pine grove from 1970 onward. It is a rather wild grove, dotted with other southern species: mimosas, cypresses, palms, oleanders, bottlebrushes, four-o'clocks. The ground is dry in summer and turns green again from autumn to spring. A large part of the park is left free and natural — early risers sometimes spot rabbits and squirrels, or simply listen to the birds.

Quiet protected by the lay of the land

The property is surprisingly quiet for the summer season. The nearby access roads and railway were dug below ground level, which softens their noise, and our location keeps us away from the bustle of the seafront. The many pines maintain a cool atmosphere sheltered from the wind: the temperature difference with the beaches of Argelès, in high summer, is clearly noticeable.

Doing nothing, without screens or crowds

Time is set by nature: birdsong in the morning, cicadas in the afternoon. You read in the shade of a pine, take a nap, have breakfast or a picnic under the trees. The estate is open all year; in low season the atmosphere is even more peaceful. We don't promise absolute silence — but a real disconnection, yes.
